- Amazon Prime Day runs June 23-26.
- Yeti’s hard coolers were discounted on the first day of Prime Day, but no longer are.
- The Ranchero Backpack is still a good deal, along with a few other Yeti staples.
PREMIUM HARD COOLERS like those Yeti builds can be pricey. Which is why Prime Day is typically a great time to snag one, as Yeti tends to mark them down 20-25% twice during the year: Prime Day and Black Friday.
SHOP YETI PRIME DAY DEALS
That was the case yesterday (the first day of Prime Day) that the Tundra and Roadie were both marked down. But alas, that’s no longer the case. But that doesn’t mean there’s still not some decent savings to be had from Yeti right now.
Take for instance the 20% savings on the Ranchero Backpack (12 and 18L). I use an earlier prototype of this bag (the Bozeman) to commute 2+ hours every day to the office, and there’s a couple key reasons why I have yet to find a better commuter backpack for me.
First, the RipZip opening is just a better way to make a backpack. Developed from Mystery Ranch’s 3-Zip design, it makes it quick to get in and out of the main section of a bag and provides access to everything without having to dig. Second, the exterior water bottle pocket. While I really enjoy using Yeti’s more slimmed down Daytrip Backpack, the internal water sleeve is just a non-starter for me—I can’t access it quickly and if my bottle leaks at all, goodbye laptop. Third, the Ground Control Base keeps the bag upright at all times. The Toughskin Nylon and sealed zippers also keep the exterior of the bag pretty waterproof, helping keep that laptop dry.
While the big ticket Yeti savings might not be on offer anymore, the Ranchero is a smart buy along with some other good deals like 20% off the Yonder Water Bottle (our favorite water bottle, and what I commute with every day), 25% off the Hopper Flip 18 Cooler (if you like yellow or cherry blossom), and 25% off the Hopper M30.
