PATAGONIA’S SALE SECTION recently underwent another extreme makeover, as the retailer just added a bunch of past-season styles to its under-the-radar Web Specials department. Patagonia runs these sales seasonally, but they’re rarely advertised and often feature past-season colors or styles that may have been updated. It just so happens to coincide with Prime Day, but at Patagonia you can nab over 50 percent off on in-season T-shirts, hats, jackets, pants, bags, and more for a limited time. Making Patagonia’s sale section better than a lot of Prime Day sales we’ve seen, especially for outdoor threads and gear.
While we’re squarely into fall, now is an incredibly smart time to save on some cooler-weather stalwarts. Patagonia’s unmatched quality and sustainability-first ethos make shelling out a few extra bucks worthwhile; nabbing the same items for less than half the price ahead of the season, though, is a no-brainer and something I’ve done myself plenty.
So I dove headfirst into Patagonia’s Web Specials section to highlight some of my favorite deals, some of which I might scoop personally. First off, anytime you can grab one of the best fleeces you can buy (the Lightweight Synchilla Snap-T) at a discount, it’s a rarity. It’s lightweight, durable, and a great layering piece for the colder months. There’s really not a flaw with this fleece, and many of our editors have sworn by their Synchilla Snap-T pullovers for years now. At 51% off, this is a great pre-season (from past season’s) buy.
Another great colder month staple from Patagonia is the Down Sweater Jacket. This 800-fill-power responsible down keeps in the heat, especially with it’s high collar (the Hoody version is also on sale in one color but has limited sizing). And at 30% off, it’s a great incentive to commit to being cozy this coming fall and winter.
And if you’re taking a trip, the well-loved Patagonia Black Hole Duffel is 20 percent off in just the 55L size right now. That’s the version I own and it’s a true workhorse on long trips (I once took it to the UK in the middle of February for 10 days as my only bag and still had room in it).
