  • Labor Day is coming and we’re seeing deals on our favorite Garmin gear.
  • Some of Garmin’s most popular models, including the Forerunner, Fenix, and Venu, are still heavily discounted.
  • Save nearly 40 percent on select dash cams and hiking gear as well.

WE TEST PLENTY of fitness trackers and smartwatches here at Men’s Health, but when it comes to outdoor enthusiasts, one has regularly stood out in our trials—Garmin. While an Apple Watch or a standard Fitbit can cover the basics, we prefer Garmin watches for more adventurous workouts. Hiking, rock climbing, and trail running all fit under that umbrella, and Garmin’s rugged line of watches fits the bill.

Garmin’s watches do tend to run you a bit more, but you get what you pay for. Still, it might not be within everyone’s preferred price range—until now. With Labor Day coming, retailers are rolling out the deals to celebrate the end of summer.

Editor-tested and approved Garmin smartwatches are up to 52 percent off. This includes some of our favorite hand-tested devices, such as the Fēnix 7X Pro Solar, which is over $250 off.

There are also substantial price cuts on older models, but they’re not markedly different than some of the newer versions we’ve tested. Below, we outlined some of the best summer sales on Garmin watches.

As mentioned, there are a few nonsmartwatch deals, too. If you’re in the market for a new dash cam—a solid investment that could potentially save you thousands down the line—the Mini3 Dash Cam is now over 20 percent off on Amazon. It’s ultracompact, easy to set up, and features intuitive voice control. Avid hikers should also consider the Garmin InReach Mini 2 while it’s nearly 40 percent off. The emergency satellite communicator serves as a backup device to your phone when you’re venturing out into the great outdoors.
