Nike ACG’s latest release kicks off summer hiking season in the new Zegama trail shoe. Built for a bit more technical terrain than the ACG Ultrafly, the Zegama features a Vibram Megagrip outsole for unmatched traction and a stretchy, conforming ankle cuff to keep out debris on the trail. I haven’t gotten on the trail just yet with them, but will definitely be putting them in some dirt very soon.

The perfect lightweight overshirt for cool beach evenings, all-day outings, or that extra chilly office. Made from a blend of soft cotton and hemp, it’s soft against the skin and has been my go-to light layer already this early summer.

The newest Endorphin Elite (the 3) delivers on the Endorphin’s high-performance legacy. Built for race day and speed work, it features a dual-foam construction that pairs some of the softest cushioning I’ve felt in a running shoe with impeccable energy return. That trait is further enhanced since the foam is combined with a slotted carbon fiber plate for propulsion and a smooth ride. I haven’t worn these in a race yet, but I have put up a couple of my fastest 5k times during training tempo runs.

If you’re looking for a new tent and don’t demand something ultralight for thru-packing, then the Vega from Exped is worth a look. It’s got a roomy interior with two vestibules, and has plenty of headspace as well. It comes with a shelter for 3-season capabilities, and can be left off when the weather is looking more ideal.

A long-time staple from The James Brand, The Ellis gets an overhaul by becoming the slimmest knife the brand now makes. It’s meant to not weigh you down but can still handle most daily tasks thanks to the All Things pry and scraper. The added pen-style pocket clip keeps it low profile.
Away’s flagship Carry-On gets some upgrades with the new Topside collection. The brand’s first-ever back wheel brake system will keep your luggage from rolling rogue on you. A zipper expansion adds 2 inches for those times when you can’t quite fit everything. And a dedicated laptop sleeve means your device is never far away—but you’re on vacation, so it’s OK to just leave it in that compartment…

Fitbit is back with its new Air screenless fitness tracker, and count us impressed. It starts at just $100 and doesn’t require a membership to use (although if you want some of the more premium features, the $100/year is still pretty affordable). We haven’t found many shortcomings with it yet, and are big stans of the movement to screenless tracking.

Much like the adjustable weighting system on golf drivers, Selkirk has brought that tech to its Omni Pickleball Paddle. Playing an opponent who demands more dink shots and finesse? Dial up the control. Trying to beat someone that’s susceptible to baseline slams? Bump up the power and let ‘er rip. This thing is ideal for anyone looking for the best of both worlds without ever having to sacrifice the other.

Worried about your battery dying but you really can’t bring a whole power bank with you? The TwelveSouth PowerClip is made for those moments, when you might need just a little bit of juice to get you through. Offering up to a 30% charge, it’s around the size of an earbuds charging case and can even charge two devices at once.
SleepMe has an upgraded version of its Chilipad in the 2.0. I’ve been testing it for a few weeks now and have found it to be a fairly straightforward temperature regulating sleep system. The new dock is quieter than the original, and is compact enough to fit under most beds. You don’t need a subscription and you can set sleep schedules in the app pretty easily. While it doesn’t track your sleep (your fitness tracker or sleep tracker can do that) and requires two separate covers and docks for partnered sleep, it’s also way more affordable than other competitors. If you’re just after cooling, heating, and making sure your temperature stays consistent throughout the night, then it’s hard to beat the Chilipad 2.0.

Keen continues to expand its trail running line with the new Wander. Slimmed down and more minimalist than the Seek and Roam, the Wander has a lower profile with a 26 mm stack height and only a 4 mm heel drop. Still featuring that roomier Keen toebox and a rock plate for stability, I’m excited for summer trail runs in this one.
How about some new sheets to go with that sleep system? Brooklinen upgraded its top-selling Luxe Sateen Core Sheets with an increased thread count and a 100% long-staple cotton. The result is some of the softest, best everyday sheets you can buy.

Another big fitness tracker release, the Oura Ring just announced its Ring 5. This isn’t a ho-hum update either, as it’s 40% smaller than the Ring 4 and is the brand’s slimmest ring yet. Oura is also claiming it’s the most accurate device yet, and that’s thanks to new software features that “combine your historical clinical metrics with real-time biometric insights for a more predictive view of your overall health,” as we interpreted. Stay tuned if that holds true as we’re just getting underway with testing.

RTIC has a solution with double-wall vacuum sealed insulation and an airtight lid seal that can be used for water or protein shakes. That’s thanks to an integrated basket system that’s removable. Use it as a water bottle or for your workout fuel, and cut down on the amount of bottles you need to keep around.

Adidas is giving the Terrex trail running line an injection of the Adizero Evo SL treatment in the Terrex Agravic SL. Essentially a mashup of the Evo SL and Terrex Agravic Speed Ultra 2, it utilizes the Lightstrike Pro super foam that’s helped vault the Evo SL to the tops of many best running shoe guides (including our own). This helps the Terrex Agravic SL weigh in at just 9.84 ounces while still bringing some legit trail running chops with a Continental outsole and the rocker geometry of the rocker geometry of the Terrex Agravic Speed Ultra 2. And it’s all in a pretty affordable package at $160.
