REI’S SECRET SALE section is one that our editors frequent. To us, it’s not really a “secret” as much as it is a hidden gem of sorts. While we try to take advantage of it year-round, the fall/winter is when it’s at its best, as fall layering options, winter apparel, and a bunch of our favorite outdoor gear are newly marked down just ahead of the season. This month, we’re seeing a bunch of editor-approved styles added to REI’s sale section, but it gets better from there. Nab in-season styles at nearly 50 percent off from some of our all-time favorite brands like Patagonia, Arc’teryx, Yeti, and Hoka. This is as legit a fall sale as you can get, and there’s no better way of re-upping your seasonal wardrobe than saving some of your hard-earned dough.
